Research Triangle Park, NC – September 10, 2013: Yang Yuanqing, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Lenovo (HKSE: 992) (ADR: LNVGY), has joined the International Advisory Council of the Washington, DC-based Brookings Institution, a globally-recognized independent and nonpartisan research organization.

The International Advisory Council is a select group of distinguished and influential international business and community leaders drawn from 25 countries on five continents. The role of the Advisory Council is to provide advice and diverse perspectives in helping the Brookings Institution address a wide range of significant global economic, political, social and cultural issues.
